To apply for CBSE 10th Result 2024 verification, students have to pay Rs 500 per subject. At the same time, for revaluation, students will have to pay Rs 100 per subject. Additionally, students will have to pay Rs 500 per answer sheet to apply for obtaining photocopies of CBSE Class 10 answer sheets.
Parents, students please note that the revaluation process is a three stage process and is completely online. There is no need to fill any physical form or send it to CBSE Headquarters. All those who wish to request re-checking of their results must apply for the same through the online portal. The portal will be activated on cbse.gov.in from the above date.
Also all the steps are necessary. One has to first apply for verification in which the board will double check the total of marks and if any questions have been left out by the examiner. The result of the verification request will then be uploaded to the website. There may be increase or decrease or no change in marks.
After verification, the revised result (if any changes are visible or otherwise) will be made available. Students then have the option to accept it or continue with the photocopy request. With this request, students will be able to view the photocopies of their answer sheets online.
The second stage is followed by the final stage of revaluation. After looking at the answer sheets, if the student feels that the marks allotted are not fair, they can request for revaluation. CBSE revaluation is done for specific questions and not for the entire answer sheet or paper. Students can choose as many questions as they want. Fee is on per question basis.
Once the revaluation process is completed, a new revised mark sheet will be released by the board which will also be available on DigiLocker. However, the printed copy of the revised marksheet is made available only after the submission of the first marksheet issued by the Board.
Students and parents are advised to contact their respective schools for further assistance on this. Detailed notices for revaluation are also available on cbse.gov.in, describing the entire process as well as the fees involved.
